"Let's use etiquette" by Kauti

Thanks for the email and thoughts. I have been reading Emily Post's 'Etiquette 17th Edition' by Peggy Post and have loved the values and principles that she teaches. It's a long read (about 800 pages or so) and she goes into everything you can imagine regarding etiquette for everyday life (shopping, entertaining, traveling etc.).
But really etiquette is not about being pretentious and snooty and showing people you're above them by knowing the rules of etiquette--but more showing others you respect and value them as human beings by being observant and kind. Anyone who interacts with other people would benefit from reading this book and learn the proper way of interacting with others!!! As I read I realize I do many things incorrectly (especially the rules from the driving section!!!) that can be considered improper and rude. So I am grateful to be learning all these things to make my little contribution to society--not to mention raise children who will not be ill-mannered!
