First Swim Lesson
Ryan and Mason started swim lessons at the Y... (the Y's programs are terrific). I think it was the first time they have been in a pool and they were a bit apprehensive but the teachers were welcoming and Ryan and Mason were both troopers. It also helped that the pool area for their age group was almost as warm as a sauna; or maybe that was nice for spectators like me!
When I was telling Phil about the boys taking swim lessons he was, as usual, quick to point out that my brother saved him from drowning when he was in college and the importance of kids learning to swim. Phil taught himself to swim when he was about 40 years old and he was taking the Scouts to the boundary waters of Canada.
In any case, I'm sure the grandkids will learn to swim so they can go snorkeling with YeYe and TuTu and surfing with Uncle Pete.

how fun! I am glad they are getting to take so many fun classes at the Y! I wish Caleb and Lorelei could do that with them.
SO DO I!!!!! Why does everyone live so far apart?
