Sherman gave me access to post on his blog. Thankfully, this blog is mainly viewed by family members because: 1) i am not a witty storyteller like Noelle and 2) i am not as creative as Kauti - you will not see photos of amazing fondant cakes or other delectable delights.

i flew with Ryan and Mason to Los Angeles so they could spend time with Esther during the holidays. When YeYe and i picked up Ryan and Mason to fly home with me, we visited with this smily guy.

Gavin as easy going and fun as Peterbilt. He loves being outdoors - he was happy, happy looking around as the wind swirled his Asian-fro (look familiar)?

(What the heck? Everytime i add a picture to the blog the picture is placed at the top of the page and i have to drag it down... It was afternoon sunshine so picture taking was disappointing.)

While we were at the park 2 boys introduced themselves to Ryan and Mason and they all played together. What's more exciting than watching a red ant hill, with binoculars too!


We dropped Gavin at Esther's after a couple of hours and headed to the hotel to stay the evening in preparation for our early morning flight. What a treat to beable to lay in bed, watch tv and eat a couple pieces of candy. Mason and Ryan were in their zone --- (although i could never figure out the cartoon).

Later we had a delicious meal with Grandpa Park at the Tofu House.

Being in California is donut haven - a donut shop on every corner - who can resist the advertising of this donut shop? Ryan and Mason chose donuts with sprinkles, YeYe chose a cinnamon donut and I chose a coconut donut... D O N U T S = yum

What better way to start the trip home!

Ryan and Mason both flew like champs knowing at the end of the trip...

dad was waiting for them!
