Saturday's Rhyme

(We've been practicing rhyming words...)

The sun was shining brightly out,

The snow will melt, without a doubt.

"Let's go to the park to sled,

Before the snow is gone," TuTu said.

So we went to tho the park,

Before it got dark.

We went down a hill on a sled,
"Whee, this is fun," Mason said.
Mason likes to slide over the bumps,
He goes airborne over those humps.

Ryan's sled zoomed down the hill,
And went in circles - what a thrill!
Ryan said, "sledding is so much fun,"
And hated to leave when when we were done.

Oh no, we're running late,

To meet our dinner date.

We're eating with dad,

That makes us glad.

Dad's studying hard for a test,

Visiting him will give him a rest.

Can you tell we're learning to rhyme,

It may be silly but that's not a crime.
