Change of Career
If i haven't called and told you - I no longer work at Kohl's. I decided to focus on a career which would develop more fully my communication, negotiation and presenting skills. I chose a career with Banker's Life and Casualty as an insurance agent. The company has been around since 1879, and focuses on seniors. I passed the insurance exams (Accident, Health and Life) yesterday, Tues July 19, to my great relief. I will go on some ride-along appointments tomorrow, and will start training this July 25th. I am super excited to begin this new chapter in my life. So if you are in need of advice in regards insurance please call or email. I will be studying here soon to be able to advise on stocks, bond, etc. so I will let you know when we can invest some ca$h.
Thanks to all of you for your support and advice during this time of change in our lives. Most importantly, I have to thank Esther for being so supportive and understanding as I have had to study and work long hours the last couple of months.
I really feel The Lord's hand in this career change and know that He is at the helm of my life. I know He will do far more with my life than I can do on my own. I am surprised about the change b/c I felt like my life was in the right direction, but as I was praying for direction the last several months, God opened the door. Change seems to be at a time when we least expect it. However, once it comes embrace it and walk through that open door with faith that He will take you to greener pastures. Have a great day!
